About fifteen years ago, our brave EPM consultant built an Ad Hoc Analysis on Smart View and on this a chart was built using Excel, and then the grid and the chart were separately copied and pasted into a static Word document, in the correct section. This work had to be done every time changes occurred to the data.
Today:
1- Reports and related charts are built on #ManagementStudio for both Oracle #FCCS and #PBCS.
2- Both objects are embedded in the Report Package of the Narrative Reporting #EPRCS
3- From then on our:

documents see the coexistence of grids and dashboards updated in real time with application data.
